The deadline to submit keynote pitches to address industry heavy hitters attending The Beat Live is fast approaching.
In keeping with tradition, The Beat Live will feature a keynote speaker chosen by readers. This Friday, July 22, will be the last chance to submit your pitch.
Please outline your provocative point of view, interesting insight or compelling commentary by answering a few questions in an email to The Beat editor-in-chief Jay Boehmer.
In 300 words or less:
- What will you talk about in a keynote?
- Why should the audience listen?
- How will you avoid delivering a sales pitch?
Later this summer, The Beat will publish all submitted pitches and bring the matter to a vote.
While the keynoter who receives the most votes from readers will land a solo stint on stage, a handful of runners-up also will get the chance to speak their minds during The Views panel.
All speakers attend for free.
The ninth annual conference, to be held Oct. 18-20 at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile, will feature a keynote address from Expedia CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, a View From The Top discussion with BCD Group founder John Fentener van Vlissingen and an on-stage interview with United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz.
Further details on speakers, panel topics and the industry's best networking are coming soon.
