Don't Forget To Submit Your Keynote Pitch To Speak At The Beat Live

In keeping with tradition, The Beat Live event will feature a keynote speaker chosen by readers. Friday, June 29, is the last chance to submit your pitch.

Anyone__and we mean anyone__can contend for this keynote address slot. Please outline your pitch by answering a few questions in an email to The Beat editor-in-chief Jay Boehmer.

In 250 words or less:

  • What will you talk about in a keynote?
  • Why should the audience listen?
  • How will you avoid delivering a sales pitch?

Later this summer, The Beat will publish all submitted pitches and bring the matter to a vote.

The prospective keynoter who receives the most votes from readers will land a half-hour solo slot on stage, and a few runners-up will get a chance to speak their minds during The Views panel, moderated by Serko SVP of North America Tony D'Astolfo.Speakers attend for free.

The 11th annual conference, taking place Oct. 3-5 in Atlanta, will feature an on-stage interview with Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian, a keynote address from Travelport CEO Gordon Wilson and a one-on-one conversation with founder and managing partner of investment firm Certares Greg O'Hara, who also is chairman of American Express Global Business Travel. Also confirmed, BCD Travel CEO John Snyder will field questions during The Hot Seat session.
