Speak At The Beat Live 2017

In keeping with tradition, The Beat Live this year will feature one keynote speaker chosen by readers. Want to be the one? Now is your chance to submit the address you would deliver at the 10th annual conference, taking place Oct. 2-4 at the Dallas-area Omni Frisco Hotel.

Sure, we've already lined up Sabre CEO Sean Menke for a keynote address, and we've got American Airlines CEO Doug Parker coming by for an interview with PlaneBusiness Banter publisher Holly Hegeman. And, yes, American Express Global Business Travel CEO Doug Anderson will field questions during The Hot Seat session. But we also want to hear from you. Yes, you.

Please outline a keynote pitch by answering a few questions in an email to The Beat editor-in-chief Jay Boehmer.

In 300 words or less:

What will you talk about in a keynote address?

Why should the audience listen?

How will you avoid delivering a sales pitch?

The deadline to submit your pitch is July 14. Speakers attend for free.

Later this summer, The Beat will publish all the pitches and bring the matter to a vote.

While the keynoter who receives the most votes from readers lands a solo stint on stage, a handful of runners-up also will get the chance to speak their minds during The Views panel, moderated by Deem chief commercial officer Tony D'Astolfo.

Focused on today's issues in corporate travel management, distribution and technology, this year's The Beat Live also will feature United Airlines SVP of worldwide sales Dave Hilfman, who leads proceedings as our master of ceremonies.

Further details on speakers, registration, panel topics and the industry's best networking are coming soon.
