Speak At The Beat Live 2019

The Beat wants to hear from you. Yes, you. Each year at The Beat Live, one keynote address is delivered by a brave soul whose pitch wins our annual reader vote.

Now is your chance to submit the keynote address you would deliver when The Beat Live comes to the InterContinental New York Times Square from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19.

Anyone—and we mean anyone—can submit a keynote pitch.

Please outline what you would discuss in a 30-minute keynote address by answering a few questions in an email to The Beat editor-in-chief Jay Boehmer.

In 250 words or less:

  • What would you talk about in a keynote address?
  • Why should the audience listen?
  • How will you avoid delivering a sales pitch?

The deadline to submit your keynote pitch is May 31. Shortly after, The Beat will publish all the pitches and let subscribers vote on their favorite.

While the person who receives the most votes will land a solo slot on stage, a few runners-up will get a chance to speak their minds during The Views panel. Speakers attend for free.
