Submit Your Keynote Pitch, Save The Date For The Beat Live

Please mark your calendar to join the most influential corporate travel executives at The Beat Live, as it returns to New York City on Dec. 7.

Our 15th annual event will showcase candid commentary from industry leaders, thought-provoking speakers and ample opportunity to network with peers.

A beloved feature of The Beat Live event is our annual keynote address that is delivered by an industry participant whose pitch wins our subscriber vote.

The deadline to submit pitches is Friday, Sept. 9. Shortly after, The Beat will publish pitches and let subscribers choose their favorite.

Anyone—and we mean anyone—can submit a keynote pitch, as long as your proposed keynote tackles a topic relevant to the corporate travel industry.

Commercials or promotional pitches need not apply.

Please outline what you would discuss in a 30-minute keynote address at our in-person event in an email to The Beat editor-in-chief Jay Boehmer: jboehmer@thebtngroup.com.

Your pitch, please no more than 200 words, should address the following questions:

  • What would you talk about in your keynote address?
  • Why should the audience listen?
  • How will you avoid delivering a sales pitch?

Don't forget to put a snappy title on your proposed address.

The individual who receives the most votes will land a solo slot on stage, and a few runners-up will get a chance to deliver an abbreviated version of their address during The Views panel. Speakers attend for free.

As you craft your keynote pitch, you can review the pitches The Beat received last year here and see last year's winners here.

Speaker and agenda information for our 15th annual The Beat Live, as well as registration details, will come shortly. We look forward to seeing you there—and hearing your keynote pitch.
