At this year's The Beat Live conference in Chicago, Sept. 20-22, one of our keynote presentations will be delivered by a speaker chosen by popular vote among readers of The Beat. We did this last year, too, when the highest vote-getter was Gregg Brockway of TripIt. In 2008, it was Jim Davidson of Farelogix.
If you'd like a shot at this year's Keynote Vote speech, click here to email me a 250-word summary answering all of the questions below. Our editors will narrow down the candidates and open them to a reader poll later this summer. All speakers at The Beat Live enjoy free registration.

Questions to address in your pitch:

What will you speak about?

Why should the audience listen?

How will you avoid a sales pitch?

What insight do you want The Beat readers to share in advance, to help you prepare for your presentation?

See you in Chicago!
