The Beat subscribers chose Festive Road managing partner Paul Tilstone to deliver a keynote address at The Beat Live, taking place in New York from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19.
Tilstone won with his pitch, Oh BT! Why Online Booking Tools Need To Wake Up And Smell The Coffee. His keynote will address the shortcomings of corporate online booking tools and discuss the "potential for the point-of-sale/point-of-experience platform of the future."
The following runners-up will present their topics during a panel discussion moderated by Serko's Tony D'Astolfo: Travel Incorporated SVP of business development and marketing Tracie Carillo (Traveler Or Corporation: Who Are We Actually Servicing?); Lumo CEO Bala Chandran (With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility: The Ethics Of Machine Learning); Travelport president and managing director of the Americas Simon Ferguson (High Tech Versus High Touch); Flight Centre Travel Group chief experience officer for corporate brands John Morhous (The Golden Age Of Travel Shouldn't Suck This Much); and ARC EVP and COO Lauri Reishus (Distribution Evolved: The Integrated Future Of Air Travel Retailing).
Congratulations to our winner and runners-up, and thanks to everyone who submitted a pitch. Also, thanks to all The Beat subscribers who voted for their favorites.
