Hurricane Sandy has had material effects on the region and our industry that no one anticipated. The sheer devastation caused and the aftermath that this region lives with and continues to endure is immeasurable.
The effect that Sandy also had on the lives of New York City Business Travel Association members and the industry as a whole is still being determined. While we work as a community to calculate the loss and recover, it's also important to seek ways to support our members and the community as a whole. In partnership with our constituents, the NYCBTA has put together a raffle of amazing trips across the globe.
The proceeds of this raffle will be given to the Mayors Fund for Hurricane Sandy Relief and it is our collective hope that our contribution can make some small difference in the recovery. The raffle results and final donation will be announced at the NYCBTA annual Holiday Party to be held at the MTV/Viacom World Headquarters at 1515 Broadway in Times Square on December 17, 2012.
