Acquired by Sabre in 2005, SynXis as of last summer was "growing like crazy and a lot with international customers," Sabre chairman and CEO Sam Gilliland told
The Beat. "That's a case where the tech platform is so much better than any other offering out there today. We have grown share and sales dramatically. We started small there and were focused on the smaller end of the market. We have moved up-market much more quickly than I would have ever imagined, and we're hopeful we'll see some big brands take advantage of that technology, too."
